Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for over 2,000 years. The United States perpetuates the charade that Tel Aviv is Israel's capital, and that the "status" of Jerusalem needs to be resolved in peace talks with West Bank Arabs. Jerusalem is Israel's one and only holy city. It is not the top holy city for Muslims. Muslims in Jerusalem and the West Bank turn their back on Jerusalem when they pray toward Mecca.
Multiple US presidents and Congresses have vowed to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Let's get on with it.
