Recognize the Libertarian Party as a major Party and give it all of the same benefits as Republicans and Democrats.

Created by G.W. on January 13, 2013

The Libertarian Party should receive the SAME benefits that the Republican and Democrat Parties receive, such as equal ballot access and funding.

Candidates whom share Libertarian ideas and ideals often enough find that when running in either of the two main Parties, they are often pushed back by sudden rule changes and less debate time. This means that many times, candidates with Libertarian ideals can't get on ballot.

The Libertarian Party's presidential candidate last year, Gary Johnson, received 1.2 million votes, roughly 1% of the vote. This was achieved without being in any national debates, having to petition for ballot access, and receiving all funding from supporters. This amount of votes shows that voters show interest in Libertarian Party Ideas.
