The United States provides 1.3 Billion Dollars to Egypt every year. But Egypt's government system is severely corrupt. The system is plagued with religious extremism and bias against minorities. Orthodox Christians specifically, have been targeted in hate crimes, the government does nothing to stop it.
Mr. Morsi was the Muslim-Brotherhood leader before he became president. The Brotherhood, in their own words are strong supporters of Jihad, and hate other religious groups.
Mr. Morsi believes in those ideals, and has attempted to change Egypt's already weak system of democracy in favor of a system that violates numerous human rights.
Minorities are now facing persecution because of the lack of a stable and fair government.We ask that you recognize Mr. Morsi's violation of those rights.
