Recognize the month of December as Christian Heritage Month.

I propose that the president recognizes December as National Christian Heritage Month. The influence of Christian heritage on the United States of America are undeniable. This recognition would not be an endorsement if the faith, but a recognition of its impact on the history of our country. Much like the new LGBT Heritage Month purports to promote education on its heritage, so too would this month promote education of the heritage of Christianity. From its impact on the forefathers to the development of the free nation. December was chosen because it is the month commonly chosen to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
