I have devoted my life from my teenage years to all forms of public safety. I am a Police Officer, Firefighter, Paramedic, and 911 Telecommunicator. This holiday would not only benefit me but public safety as a whole. There are times when people in this field are overlooked. This would be a way to remind people that we are a vital part of the infrastructure and national security of this great nation.
