As a female engineering professional, I would like to petition for the US Government to recognize National Women in Engineering Day on June 23rd. The Women's Engineering Society (http://www.nwed.org.uk/) in the UK already celebrate this day every year and we would like to also encourage women in the sciences by celebrating this day. Can the US Government please recognize women in engineering?
