Our holidays divide the year neatly into eight parts, and our celebrations echo human history in the Northern Hemisphere. There are several holidays that are Christian already recognized on the federal level. The Muslims wish to have their Eid days recognized, as well. Considering the large number of Pagans in the United States, and the First Amendment to the Constitution, I think it is only fair and right for our holidays to be recognized, too.
