The Palestinian people deserve the right to organize and be recognize as a sovereign state. We, the undersigned, petition the United States of America to recognize Palestine as an official country. Their existence should never be conditional to the whim of Israel. This conflict has gone on since 1967 with the UN Security Council adoption of Resolution 242.
The time is long past due to be fulfilled. It is time the United States of America do what is morally right instead of what is politically expedient. We petition the United States to officially recognize the nation of Palestine as it should in 1967.
