Recognize PTSD as a battle wound and issue the Purple Heart to those diagnosed both past, present, and future.

Created by D.B. on December 05, 2012

PTSD is a battle wound. Many service members are killed, or injured while serving their country. Often those that may or may not return with physical scars often have mental scars that are directly associated with combat related PTSD. Nightmares, night sweats, social dysfunction, depression, suicidal ideology to name a few don't speak a word for the impact of the disorder. The emotional scaring not only effects the service member, but the service members entire peer circle as a whole. PTSD is not a joke and should be ranked equally with battle injuries. It is not a wound that goes away.
