On November 6th, the overwhelming majority of Puerto Rico voted in favor of becoming the 51st state of America. As a nation, we sould recognize our fellow Americans as a state if they wish to be a state. Puerto Rico, based on population statistics, should be given 7 electoral votes. It is tyranny to not allow our fellow Americans statehood, and even worse to not give them the right to vote. Therefore, Puerto Rico should be granted statehood and become the 51st state of America, as well as given the right to 7 electoral votes.
