Recognize the right of the American people to exercise their rights under the Declaration of Independence in seceding.

We, the citizens of the United States, ask that the U.S. government acknowledge U.S. citizens have the same rights accorded under the Declaration of Independence that declared the U.S. free of English tyranny in 1776.

"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it..."

This nation was intended a "nation of the people, by the people, and for the people". It should be the right of U.S. citizens, through popular vote, to resist the tyranny of today's government by supporting secession and take the government in a new direction once it becomes destructive of the people's consent.
