Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies allow users to make transactions on the Internet without the help (and costs) of banks, credit card companies, and payment processors. Those costs have been huge. But now we know we have a choice. One that cuts out payment processors.
For years, workers have had to accept automation eliminating jobs without enjoying any of the benefits of the added productivity. Fair is fair, and now that we know transactions can be fast, secure, and inexpensive, the financial sector should have to compete with that.
While we recognized the difficulty of blocking transactions with some parties using Bitcoin, in exchange Bitcoin provides a public and permanent record of transactions.
Please support the right of citizens to use Bitcoin.
