We the people ask the federal government to Tell us what the federal government is doing about an issue:

Recognize Rodrigo Duterte's violent anti-drug campaign as an act of Genocide and find a way to end it.

Created by S.R. on December 08, 2016

When Rodrigo Duterte took office, he vowed to end the Philippines drug crisis by systematically killing anyone who is suspected to be taking drugs and is a dealer. In all, the death toll from police murders (extrajudicial) and vigilante murders is upwards of 5,000 innocent people. Duterte has openly compared his war to the Holocaust, happily stating that he would have 3 million people murdered. Hundreds of thousands have surrendered to Duterte's forces, causing massive overcrowding in the jails and prisons of the Philippines. The Philippines is in a humanitarian crisis which could easily become a genocide against the Philippine people. We the People urge President Obama to recognize Duterte's war as an act of genocide and to end these pointless killings before Trump enters office.
