Recognize September 11th as a U.S. holiday entitled National Remembrance Day

Created by R.R. on February 04, 2013

September 11th should be recognized nationally as an official day of remembrance, hence the title National Remembrance Day. New York City and other cities all over America could hold ceremonies (possibly nationally televised) and vigils to honor those who lost their lifes on September 11th, 2001. Both schools and certain workplaces should not operate on these days.
