Noting that the Iraqi Government and its Army incapable of either unity nor ability to fight terrorists, such as ISIS/L, or be in line with American Interests
Believing that the recognition of a sovereign, free state of Kurdistan will create a crucial ally in a region where America has few
Further noting that the Kurdish Parliament and its armed forces, the Peshmerga, more than capable of confronting terrorists and standing up for freedom
Therefore petitions the US Government to expeditely recognize and support the creation of a Kurdish State, help foster amicable relations with its neighbors, and protect it from attack and retaliation.
