We, concerned Americans and Zaqistanis, petition the United States Government to recognize the Republic of Zaqistan as a sovereign nation and to open up diplomatic relations.
The Republic of Zaqistan has been a de-facto sovereign nation as of 2005, and after 10 years it is time to end the stand-off. Let's move forward from the animosity of the previous administration and open negotiations.
Zaqistan is located in a remote and barren part of NW Utah, over the past 10 years Zaqistan has brought a financial and artistic stimulus to an area lacking in both. It is in both American, Zaqistani, and the region's interests to build a strong relationship. We hope to allow Zaqistani citizens around the world visit their homeland without being blocked by US State department Visa regulations.
