Recognize state sovereignty by defending the 10Th Amendment to the Constitution.

The federal government has been guilty of overstepping it's authority, and infringing on the rights of the individual states to govern themselves as they see fit. The Constitution has placed limits on the role of the fedeal government, and they have been gradually exceeding their Constitutional authority. This has led to anger, and more recently, attempts to leave the union. I am calling on the federal government to recognize the fact that each state has it's own culture and values, and allow them to make their own decisions with regard to things like abortion, gun control, gay marriage, recognition of God in public places, the use of natural resources, etc. We will never have unity so long as the federal government refuses to respect the rights of the states.
