Recognize the truth that Jerusalem is the eternal and united capital of Israel.

Jerusalem has been the capital of the nation of Israel for three thousand years. In their thousands of years of exile, with rare and forced exceptions, Jerusalem was never without Jewish inhabitants, and the Jews of the Diaspora never gave up their dream of a fulfilled promise of a return to Zion. This government has refused to allow Jews with American citizenship who were born in Jerusalem to have Israel written as their place of birth. This implicit denial of the eternal bond and right of the nation of Israel to her life's home is cruel, offensive, and dishonest. We call on the president of the United States to rectify this wrong and publicly recognize the truth in both words and deed: that Jerusalem is the eternal undivided capital of the nation of Israel.
