Recognize the unethical treatment of animals in CAFOs and reform the Humane Slaughter Act and Twenty-Eight Hour Law

I am petitioning for the reformation of the Humane Slaughter Act so that the inspections are more thorough, regulations are upheld, and it is extended to include poultry. I am also calling for the reformation of the Twenty-Eight Hour Law to a Fourteen Hour Law, which will essentially be reducing the amount of hours allowed for an animal to go without food. I am also calling to redefine the word "confinement" as applied in CAFO's in the hopes of providing each animal a healthier environment.
