Recognize that the US Government is an economic and political unit, not a moral institution.

The leaders of the US Government need to recognize that the primary purpose of a government is to create basic guidelines for the people, not run their lives. The government should only interfere with a person's actions should they be directly harmful to another person or creature with cognitive thought (unless killed for food). Examples: All drugs should be legalized, no gun restrictions, no government interference in the economy, legalize gay marriage. Most Americans would rather lose one security rather than 100 liberties. The government should play less of a role in people's lives. This is not a direct request for specific change. The goal of this "petition" is to raise awareness of the unconstitutional restrictions put on the American people by the US Government. Thank you.
