Be it affirmed that - Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert routinely provide vitally important, painfully accurate but easily digestible information about numerous aspects of our government, our society and our alleged culture. Further, in doing so, both regularly contribute positively to the mental health of millions of Americans.
Be it enacted that - those citizens, wherever located, however young or old, Red state - Blue state, who vow to religiously watch and give serious attention to Stewarts and Colberts TV shows, be given appropriate recognition in the form of a yearly, significant deduction in their federal income tax. The amount of such a deduction shall be determined by a scientific, properly monitored poll among current viewers of both programs.
