The heroes who served our country should be celebrated, and one time-honored tradition is a ticker tape parade in major cities. The administration should encourage all communities in America to recognize the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan with a National Day of Action such as the one suggested by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
