recognize video-games and movies of all ratings as an unban-able piece of art.

Created by H.G. on January 30, 2014

Although this may not seem like an important thing to most, at nineteen years old I am old enough to recognize art when I see it. Pictures and music are considered art, officially. So why is it that video-games and movies, officially recognized as entertainment media, are not looked upon with the same respect as famous painting "The Mona Lisa" or "Starry Night". Not only are video-games and movies art, but video-games are a platform of ALL art. Including, but inconceivably not limited to music, paint, visual media, interactivity, stories, architecture, and all around design. Violent games are looked down upon due to fear of corrupting youth, but these games, like movies are rated for a reason. Youth corruption is a parental guidance issue, not a video-game/movie related issue. Recognize It
