Since Blue Water Veterans served offshore from Vietnam, they are excluded from the Agent Orange Act of 1991, which provides coverage to Vietnam veterans for all herbicide related diseases and disabilities. Nearly half of the surviving hundred thousand members of the U.S. Navy and Fleet Marine services are currently suffering disabilities resulting from dioxin exposure. Agent Orange aerial application recognized no boundaries. Blue Water Veterans lived, breathed and served from contaminated waters off the coast. They are experiencing the same exact diseases and disabilities as the veterans who fought on the ground in Vietnam, but are denied health care and compensation benefits for their ailments.
Thank our veterans for their service by giving them the benefits they deserve!
