We only want this little thing and we'll go away. We are persistent and growing ever louder. You can't out-wait us. We will never tire of this. Our numbers are always larger than you think. There is no escaping us. We surround you.
We are your parents and your children. We are your brothers and your sisters. We are your friends and your neighbors. We are your employers and your coworkers.
We are old and young, rich and poor, conservative and liberal, black and white, and we are all frustrated.
But if you accede to this one unifying demand, we will cease. The time and energy taken up by this issue will be happily withdrawn and as a society we can all move on to more important things.
