The Westboro Baptist Church is a hateful organization that preaches they are the chosen ones of God. They preach that all others are sinners and are going to hell. They picket funerals which include military personnel and homosexuals.
As of recent events, there has been talk from the Westboro Baptist Church (from Jonathan Phelps and Shirley Phelps-Roper) of protesting/picketing the funerals of the 20 children and 6 adults that were murdered in the recent Newtown Connecticut shooting. We cannot allow these groups to operate as a "Church" and preach these hateful things.They have transgressed the bounds of "Free Speech" and have descended into meaningless hate. We cannot allow them to hide behind law enforcement and do this.
