Currently the school districts do not recognize wiccan holidays. Children of wicca can not be called out of school for religious purpose without consequence. Currently children of more orthodox Christian religions are either given the Christian holidays off, or allowed out of class for religion without issue. We wish for the school s to be equal when considering a student's religion as a basis for abscence.
