As a legitimate media organization, WikiLeaks’ staff should be protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits the government from interfering with the printing and distribution of information or opinions. All media organizations have a duty and responsibility to report the truth to ensure all citizens have the information they need to make informed decisions about their government.
