The USA must recommence the construction of the Superconducting Super Collider. The SSC will be a massive machine under Dallas, where it will collide nuclei at up to 40 TeV. The SSC strives to identify thousands of unknown particles and to increase understanding of our universe. Currently, our country is draining away our scientific knowledge to places like Asia and Europe, whom are much more scientifically advanced than us. Recommencing the construction on the SSC will help boost our science, education, economy, and technology. So far, we have already shut down Tevatron, the third most powerful hadron collider in the world. This whole project will cost only $12 Billion, which could be done if you were to allocate more money into the DOE budget. If approved, it will thousands of jobs.
