We've suffered enough through celebrity renditions of our the Star-Spangled Banner. As the crowds in Boston proved the week of April 15, 'We the People' are more than capable of singing our national anthem.
We petition that a recommendation be made that our professional sports facilities -- often paid for or supported by taxpayer dollars -- make an effort for the Star-Spangled Banner to be sung by the people: By the attendees, by children from the community, by our amazing U.S. service organization choirs, bands, and soloists.
Let's take back the Anthem!
