This Law Enforcement Superfund can be established and funded annually with a fire arm user fee. Each weapon privately owned and registered would be required by law to pay a annual user fee into the national Superfund. This annual fee will be determined by type of weapon registered; for example a Hunting Rifle would be $25 annually and a handgun would be $50, a semi-automatic weapon $150, and an Assault weapon would be $500 annually. Each State can apply for Superfund dollars based on the amount of registered weapons to be used for public safety and Law Enforcement.
