We ask for President Obama not to ban weapons solely on how they look. We ask that he take the time, contact the people who own and use these weapons, and find out how they are used.
We ask President Obama to sponsor a bill that requires all sale from a person with a Federal Firearms License to have a background check. Private sales or sales/gifts with in a family would be recommended to have a background check. If no background check is done, the seller could also be held responsible for the actions of the purchaser.
We ask President Obama to make getting a Federal Concealed Carry Permit easier to apply for and for it to supersede permits issued by all States.
We ask for a common sense approach to firearms control.
