Since the years coming out of 9-11, the American people have been in a state of shock. We are no longer building big things. The dreams that a child had when they saw skyscrapers for the first time, and they asked "how big can they build those things?" have faded away, replaced with fears of terrorists blowing them up.
This needs to stop, else we really are letting the terrorist win. Lets snap out of it, lets build big things again. Let's build the U.S.S. Macon II. We as Americans were at the forefront for Airship adventure when the Macon first flew, by building a Hybrid Airship Aircraft Carrier of the same scope as the Macon, we show the world we are not afraid. We reignite the dreams of American adventure, and we fly off into the wild blue yonder as masters of the impossible.
