As a every day American, I am petitioning the Obama Administration to recommission President Franklin Roosevelt's Public Works Administration. The duties of the works administration was to put Americans back to work during the Great Depression. I believe if this commission is reconstituted, it can help our nation build new and maintain current infrastructure and other public works projects.
This commission was played a instrumental role in creating jobs and I believe it can yet play a new role in today's economic downturn. Aside from providing jobs to those who desperately need one, we can at the same time maintain our infrastructures. Let's consider this as another viable option.
