We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

A Reconciliation and Reform Commission is needed to heal the nation from the election's divisiveness and corrosiveness.

Created by B.H. on November 21, 2016

The election reflected negativity and corrosiveness. The President should establish a Reconciliation and Reform Commission to assess the impacts of divisiveness on our political and governance systems, and present recommendations to encourage reconciliation and transformation of our systems to foster inclusiveness, fairness, understanding, cooperation, and trust. Commission members should be people of good will representing our society’s diversity: different faiths, ethnicities, economic sectors, social movements and concerns. The Commission should be funded privately (e.g. foundation) to give it true independence. Within not more than one year of its formation, the Commission would submit a report directly to the American people, not subject to review or control by the federal government.
