WHEREAS, the FLYING IRISH RUNNING CLUB:
Is dedicated to the furthering of an active lifestyle through running in a social setting and strives to positively promote the sport of running;
Has 8,445 total members as of May 21, 2014;
Has an average of 463 members to each of its weekly Thursday night runs;
Has ran a total of 84,846 runs equating to 311,385 miles ran;
Has become the first running club in the world to have a beer named after their club: FLYING IRISH PALE brewed by Iron Goat Brewery Co. of Spokane, WA.
Set the record for the largest group to Prancercise at once with 447 total individuals;
Is based out of Spokane, WA, a recognized All-American City in 1974 and 2004;
For these reasons, we request that the FLYING IRISH RUNNING CLUB be recognized and given all unquestioned rig
