RECONSIDER “TAXING”, or penalizing UNINSURED AMERICANS

Created by C.T. on September 20, 2012

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, has been established to provide people of the U.S with more affordable health insurance. However, a Penalty Tax is being initiated to help “reduce” the number of uninsured Americans.
Studies show a large percent of Americans without insurance, will pay the tax instead of seeking coverage, some will give false information to the IRS to avoid this “tax”.
It should be up to the citizen whether they are covered. These individuals know the consequences of what can happen if they are sick, hurt, or need medical attention without having health coverage. By taxing those who can’t afford it, it will not be beneficial to them, or anyone. In essence, the whole idea may backfire, and cause more expenses to everyone to help pay for the losses.
