Reconsider the coming cuts to the defense budget

We would like to urge the administration and congress to find a way to lessen the burden of the coming defense budget cuts. We are currently in the midst of an economic crisis. Defense industry jobs are often held by specially skilled veterans. With more former soldiers looking for work and an economy that cannot support mass layoffs across the industry, we urge you to lessen the budget cuts to the defense industry. Many of these employees will not have any other career options. In areas such as Huntsville, AL these cuts could decimate the entire area if not reduced.
