reconsider the definitions of EMERGENCY and DISASTER with regards to the Flint water system. We need to rebuild it.

Created by K.S. on January 19, 2016

Asking the president to reconsider his decision to not grant disaster funding, but just emergency funding, to the Flint, Michigan, water lead situation. We can not continue with just water filters and bottled water indefinitely, That is just a temporary fix until the big job of replacing the damaged water lines and that task requires disaster funding.

Flint has experienced many setbacks over the last decades. This, man made disaster is the final blow to the citizens of Flint. Without rebuilding the water system, Flint is a ghost town and not inhabitable without safe drinking water.
