Reconsider the legalization of marriages between people of the same gender.

We live in a time where everyone should be treated equally but as a society we decide the standards in which we shall live by. This petition is to define the word marriage as " socially or religious ritual recognized union or legal contract between a man and a woman." Even though same gender attraction can happen and does occur in nature, those individuals cannot procreate with the same gender no matter how hard they try. This will lead to the end of that individual. A species can only survive by means of a female and male relationship, which is what a marriage should be defined as.
