The US government needs to defend our personal freedoms, period. What i witnessed today on mostly european media outlets because ours were too busy on the election, was sickening. How does an allied nation have the right to come here, to our land, and destroy protest signs and physically assault reporters for doing their jobs? Can these turks go to mcdonalds in dc and do whatever they want to someone there holding a sign they dont like? If not, whos going to stop them because the us security didnt do much to help from the videos i seen.
On the same note, how is it morally ok for us to continue to praise and support them while they continue to step up their media crackdown, throw journalists in jail on nothing, and murder thousands of their own people? Are we really ok with this?
