As the "struggle" in Israel becomes worse, the time has come for the US to reconsider its support of the nation. The UN has moved to recognize Palestine as a Nonmember Observer State and the US ought not struggle with the reality that Palestine may have a claim on the land they have historically controlled. Beyond that, the relations between Israel and bordering Middle Eastern nations is worse than ever, and does nothing to garner any support for America from the citizens pf the embattled nations. While both sides of the struggle between Israel and Palestine have committed atrocious actions, Israel's continued displacement of Palestinian citizens has to be the worse. So in an effort to improve relations and help a struggling nation, the US should reconsider our complete support of Israel.
