reconsider the requirements needed to obtain financial, medical, and housing assistance from the government.

It's not news that our country's debt is out of control and climbing everyday. We need to stop spending money that we don't have! There are tons of ways to cut spending in America but this is focused on Public Welfare for our population under the poverty level. By adding these 3 requirements to obtain assistance, I believe spending will be cut tremendously and money will be saved. To receive assistance from the government, one must; 1. Maintain part-time work. Should one one lose their job, 3 months are allotted to find another. 2. Pass an initial drug test, followed by random drug tests throughout period receiving assistance. 3. Make it mandatory for all persons using food stamps to turn in their receipts to account for the funds they need and are using.
