Our politicians must be held strictly accountable for what they say, in or out of session. The American people deserve to know exactly what is said by our representatives. The political process has already fractured our public forums and become sport rather than serious governance. Outside of issues directly affecting national security, the American people need a way to get factual representation of what is said and done on their behalf.
If adopted, such legislation would implement technology and processes to create an online archive of every conversation, categorized and easily discoverable, held by any member of Congress, the President, his cabinet members, and direct staff. No more closed door negotiations with comments to the press after the fact.
