In February 2013, the cruise ship Triumph of Carnival Cruise lines suffered an electrical fire, leaving it stranded. The coast guard and tugboats ensured the ship was towed back to Moblie, Alabama. Once there, it blew free of its mooring and crashed into another ship. Carnival CEO has stated they will not reimburse the taxpayers of the US for the cost to ensure the ship made it safely to Mobile.
