Recover funds from profitable companies that receive government subsidies.

Created by D.F. on November 14, 2014

I would like to suggest that government subsidies be considered as a sliding scale loan. If a company that receives subsidies is profitable, then a reasonable portion of that profit should be reimbursed to the government. The returned funds should be applied to the national debt. Businesses that are necessary for the public good should be subsidized if needed. However it is not the duty of the government or tax payers to ensure they are profitable.
