We need to create standards to make all new veichles create zero emissions by 2035. This shall do this in a number of steps. Requiring 10% of auto sales to be ZEV by 2021. 25% by 2027. 50% by 2030. And 100% by 2035. Grants could be awarded for companies auto fleets that are 100% ZEV before the 2035 Deadline. Companies who cannot meet these standard will be banned from US sales until they create a plan to meet these standards. In which they will have 12 months after approval to do.
Creating these standards give companies incentive to innovate a green future in a short amount of time. Which major automakers did in the 90's and can do now.
