We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

To rectify the issues regarding the substandard quality of care at the only medical hospital on St.Croix, USVI.

Created by B.F. on September 11, 2016

The only medical hospital on island is in a deplorable state. They lack both resources and personnel. Due to the hospital being understaffed, doctors and nurses are forced to work overtime. As a result, patient care is compromised. The emergency room wait time can range from 2 hours to sometimes all day before the patient is seen by a physician. The facility is not equipped for mass trauma cases. We need help getting this Critical Infrastructure to a fully functioning emergency medical facility. There is no hope! The local government is aware of the crisis. They hear the cries of the residents. No one is working towards a resolution. The issue remains unaddressed.
