RECUSE CONGRESSMAN AND SENATORS FROM VOTING ON ISSUES FRAMED BY THEIR BACKERS AND LOBBYIST OR WHICH THEY HOLD MEMBERSHIP

Created by R.S. on March 23, 2013

Currently, our congressmen and senators are bought by organizations and lobbyist, which adversely affects the outcome of many of our laws and national policy. Because of the significant financial backing that they receive, their views become so extreme, it tends to shatter the democratic process as was intended by our forefathers as they wrote the Constitution. Just as our judicial branch must recuse themselves on trials that involves organizations which they may hold membership, so this same rule should apply to our politicians. Their views range from extreme to radical, and they should not be in a position to affect laws and policies that impact every American.
