Redefining the powers of Congress/ Use technology for people to VOTE on ALL Bills

Created by J.W. on April 26, 2015

The founding fathers of our country designed the House of Representatives to represent the people. They did their best to design a system that would not fall victim to corruption. Unfortunately our system is beyond corrupt. 400 yrs ago, this was the only way mass amounts of population could have a voice. No longer that is the case. Technology allows the mass population capable of voting on any and all issues. Simple. We need not eradicate the House but instead redefine their role. They shall be the administrators of the people. They shall execute bills for the people to vote upon and they shall implement the majority winning votes. The Senate should be comprised of regular people for one year terms and selected by same method as jury selection. President veto power remains unchanged.
